So the Toronto International Bike Show is on this weekend. The sad part is, I'm not yet sure that I'll be going. Last year's show was great - definitely a good chance to check out and pick up some new gear. Little did I know last year that in just a couple of months following the show I'd buy a new bike - there were some great deals, and I'm sure this year will be the same. This year's show runs Friday, March 2, 2007 through to Sunday March 4, 2007 at the Direct Energy Centre, which was formerly known as the National Trade Centre, over at Exhibition Place. If I do go, I'll be sure to post a follow-up about it. Otherwise, if you went, leave a comment to let me know how it was!
Stu and Kevin - Toronto to Montreal
For the second year in a row, Stu and Kevin are participating in the PWA Friends for Life bike rally to raise money for the Toronto People With AIDS Foundation. From July 29 - August 3, they will join about 300 other riders and crew to cycle 600 km from Toronto to Montreal.

Launch Party
Well this is it, launch party day has arrived, along with the snow. What a great turnout though, Buddies was packed with people, both newcomers and those returning for another year. I'm looking forward to my second year as a rider. Now that I'm back home, orientation package in hand, I can already feel myself getting excited again for what promises to be another great journey. Training rides begin on Saturday April 14th with a 34km route departing from Finch subway station, so check back around then for updates on how things start out. Or, for a look back at last year's ride, check out the blog Kevin and I put together at http://snk-t2m.blogspot.com/.
