Welcome!

Welcome to our Friends for Life Bike Rally blog. The Friends for Life Bike Rally is an annual fundraiser for the Toronto People with AIDS Foundation that sees about 300 riders and crew cycle 600 km from Toronto to Montreal over 6 days. This blog is a place for us to share with you information about our preparation for the ride, training progress, fundraising efforts, and anything else related to the event.

Stu and I started cycling together last year, riding the trails around town and venturing on a few longer rides north of the city. As we started cycling more and more, people started telling us about the bike rally and suggesting that we give it a try. While we certainly whet our cycling appetite last year, each logging over 1000 km, cramming so much riding into 6 days is going to be very challenging. But we're prepared to put in lots of time training for the event and we're happy to be supporting such an important cause. Overall, we're definitely excited!

Stay tuned...
